The Philharmonic School of Kefalonia

The historic Philharmonic School of Kefalonia is a non-profit organization that has fostered the musical culture and education of the young since 1838. One of the oldest music schools in the Ionian Islands, it has a state-recognized conservatory and a brass band with a long and illustrious history.

Concerts and school plays with musical accompaniment by students of the conservatory are held every year, and students participate in national competitions, winning awards and distinctions as well as top placements in university schools of music.
