Aghia Varvara Beach (katelios)

There is a lovely sandy beach, ideal for swimming, in Kato Katelios. It’s Aghia Varvara, the area’s beach. What is characteristic is the fact that you can enjoy your dip in the sea but also taste the wonderful flavors from one of the picturesque fish taverns of the area, with a sea view and just a few meters away, touching the sand… Aghia Varvara has a view of Kaminia, another even bigger beach belonging to the nearby village of Ratzakli. It is said that near the beach there are some unexplored monuments, which is quite possible as quite a few spots have yet to be explored.
